Summer is over and it is time to get the fall season off to a great start!! September 12th, we will host a special Sunday School Rally. We will start by going to our Sunday School classes at 9:30 am, then we will all go to the Sanctuary at 10:00 am for a short program.
Next Sunday, August 29th, the focus of our worship will be Passionate Worship, focusing on the time we gather deliberately seeking to encounter God.
Radical Hospitality This is the first practice of the Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations. Beginning, Monday, August 16th, the congregation will read the seven devotions on Radical Hospitality in the Cultivating Fruitfulness book in preparation for the first sermon held at 5:30pm on Sunday, August 22nd in the Fellowship Hall.
To All, On Sunday, August 8th, you can pick up a copy of Robert Schnase’s, “Cultivating Fruitfulness”, book. The books will be located at the Welcome Center. There will be a form to sign your name when you pick up your copy. Please take one book per family.

This summer, Adult Bible Studies presents a course entitled “Christian Commitment in Today’s World.” Writers Robert Dodd and Robert Walker explore the nature, foundation, and marks of commitment as they apply to Christians in today’s world.
There will be a new Bible Study every Monday evening entitled “Nutrition & Health in the Bible.
Fifteen members of the Good News Sunday School Class traveled to Branson on Saturday, May 15th by church bus, thanks to the Christian Church.
