Summer is over and it is time to get the fall season off to a great start!! September 12th, we will host a special Sunday School Rally. We will start by going to our Sunday School classes at 9:30 am, then we will all go to the Sanctuary at 10:00 am for a short program.
This summer, Adult Bible Studies presents a course entitled “Christian Commitment in Today’s World.” Writers Robert Dodd and Robert Walker explore the nature, foundation, and marks of commitment as they apply to Christians in today’s world.
Fifteen members of the Good News Sunday School Class traveled to Branson on Saturday, May 15th by church bus, thanks to the Christian Church. We have three Adult Sunday School Classes: “Ekzeteo” for young adults, the “Good News” adult class, an our “Clipper” class for seniors. They start every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. We would love for you to join us in fellowship. Our lessons are taken from the “Adult Bible Studies Series” published by the Uniform Series. [...]
We welcome Brennan as a new member of the Baxter Springs First United Methodist Church.
Our Youth classes are from Grades 4th – 6th. They are studying the history of our Church’s front stain class doors.
Our Early Elementary Classes are studying the Rock Solid Series.
On Thursday December 17th at 6 p.m. the United Methodist Men hosted their annual Christmas Dinner for the Church.
The Clipper Sunday School Class will hold a dinner and movie afternoon. Sunday, November 1, 2009. It will start at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.
The First United Methodist Church Youth Sunday School classes spent the first quarter of 2009 learning about mission service. The project that they chose to support is Heifer International.
