As I spent the day alternating between homework and preparation for teaching this evening’s Beyond 30 Seconds class on hospitality I also have kept an eye open for updates from UMCOR and Haiti. Tonight’s lesson focuses on “putting faith into action.”

A Year of Reflection and Renewal This past year has offered us many chances for reflection as well as numerous signs of renewal. I feel that I have been truly blessed to be given the opportunity to serve as your lay leader.

It was an honor to represent our church this year as lay delegate to annual conference.
