Health Kit Goal Exceeded With Help From Melrose
Members of the First United Methodist Church of Baxter Springs and Melrose United Methodist Church worked together to provide 103 health kits that have already been sent in. Even with the heavy snow that hit the area, approximately ten members from the two churches still gathered to assemble the kits on Saturday January 30th. The need for health kits continues as have the donations as more items and health kits continue to come in. We will still be serving as a drop of point for health kits in our area and have already heard from other churches that are planning to drop off more health kits. Many thanks go out to all those who have donated to this cause. These donations of time, materials and money are helping to bring hope to those in need.
